  3. Kevin Churchill Sr. says:

    Good Day,
My wife, Mary, and I, Brother Kevin Churchill, are trying to plan a trip to Ireland. If possible, could you put us in touch with a Brother that might help with planning. We do not want a “canned” tour. We prefer to see and enjoy things on our own. I do wish to attend a lodge meeting while we are there. The time frame is 2018 best time of year for visiting.

    Sincerely,
Brother Kevin Churchill, PM, Ramah #165.

  4. first time visitor so if I make errors with my post please forgive them.
I am a P. M. of The Ionic Lodge # 549 G. L.C. in the provnice of Ontario, Canada; currently sitting as Chaplain for the St. Andrews Lodge # 593, same jurisdiction.
Seeing the G. L. I. has lodges in the Republic surprised me in one way but not in another.
The former as my mother was born up in County Roscommon and left Ireland in the early 1920’s. Her memories of living in bandit country as a child were rarely spoken, yet when they would have been did not reflect a positive image of life for the Catholics in the South when it was in her words under occupation. That said I hope I may be allowed to open up a link between myself and perhaps the brethren whom prepared the short presentation of the Grand Lodge Hall in Dublin; seeing the surname Costello in the credit lists made me wonder if the Bro. or his family be connected with the Costello family who lived in the areas of County Sligo, or Roscommon. Is there a means for me to have him email me under private geneoloic research that information? Thank you.
